-There's great scuba diving and snorkelling along with wind-surfing, kite-surfing and parachuting.

-You can hire a boat and check out the coral reef and see the dolphins.

A rare opportunity exists to see whale sharks - the largest (and harmless) members of the shark family that breed around this part of the coast.
-You can go deep-sea fishing for sport fish including marlin, sailfish, tuna, dorado, kingfish, wahoo etc.
-Or you can just hire a local 'dug-out' canoe and paddle or sail around the shallow waters by the reef.

-There are two wildlife/ game parks nearby in the beautiful Shimba Hills - only 30 mins drive - there are hundreds of elephants, giraffes, zebra, gazelles, lions and many other animals to be seen. But go early! The best time to see the animals is around sunrise. Do always carry your residency card and smart card to attract local rates if you are an expatriate residing in kenya.
